I grabbed this phone mounting bracket because all of the other mounting options for a 2005 BMW 325CI were focussed on the air vents (which just don't work well). I used this bracket as the foundation for mounting a phone holder which I custom made. The bracket is designed to fit flawlessly into the moulding / trim of the car so aesthetically it just feels right, and another advantage is that it isn't intrusive to the flow and usage of the electrical components (radio / temperature controls). The BMW is limited in space on where to mount a bracket, and I admit that I would prefer a mount that is higher up on the dashboard so that the eye scan remains higher on the horizon, but there just aren't great options out there and this one is the best that I found. I feel much better knowing my kid has a solid phone mount that works well. Great job Enfig > I highly recommend this one.
