Basic Information
-Bluetooth audio is All audio except calls. Yes navigation and audio books are included.
-Even if your radio has a CD changer built in your radio also has a connection on the back for a second CD changer. CD Changer port interfaces below trick the radio into thinking that there is a CD changer attached. The radio opens the audio lines and lets you play CD quality music through your radio. -The CD changer in the radio will always still work. The CD changer or iPod dock in the glove box will never work. -If you listen to satellite radio and choose a device that does not connect in the glove box you will need a sat pass to keep the satelite radio audio. See the sat pass section below.

Keeping Sirius XM radio
These interfaces use the CD changer port for audio. Unfortunatly the CD changer audio passes through the satellite radio tuner so if you choose an interface that connects behind the radio you must install a Sat pass to continue listening to satellite radio. If you do not listen to satellite radio you can skip this step. If you have the iPod/CD Changer connection in the glove box then you can use the Satpass3 but if your car does not have this connection then you must use the SatPass2 and run it to the satellite tuner in the trunk. If you choose an interrace that connects in the glove box the sat pass in built into the car. |
