I bought the product for my 2002 BMW with 16:9 navigation + cd changer and made in 3/2002, meaning no OEM aux. I have been waiting for years for a low cost solution to come out so when I read on the forums that the BMT-IPDU-AUX would give me an aux output I called Chris at Enfig. He was really helpful and steered me away from making the mistake of buying other products. Yes they may work, but this product was so easy to install and the sound is incredible. I love the fact that it has a lightening connector for my iphone and a 3.5mm aux port in case I need it. If you have my car configuration, don't hesitate to call Chris and order this product. Finally I can stream music from my phone!
