iPod compatible with all models made from 4/2003 - 7/2008 except Shuffle. Will not charge the 3rd Gen iPhone but will transfer audio. Use this chart as a guide. In all applications this interface connects directly to the back of the radio. Direct wired line level audio input via the iPod's bottom dock connector. Charges the iPod while the radio is on and for 20 minutes after you turn off the radio. Connects to the CD changer port behind your radio. Will work with all in-dash CD players and Changers. Works with ALL Monsoon and non Monsoon radios. Will not lock out the controls on the iPod. Will NOT work with externally mounted CD Changers or Phatbox. They must be disconnected. Does not control the iPod from the radio or steering wheel controls

Audi's with the RNS-E navigation radio have a CD changer in the glove box. In this case if you use this interface and connect behind the radio and disable the glove box CD changer it will also disable the factory satellite radio. We recommend using the BlitzSafe VW/M-Link1 V.3A it connects in the glove box replacing the CD changer and will not disable the satellite radio. Using this interface will disable the factory satellite radio. You must purchase and install the ENFIG_AUDI_SAT_PASS_2 in order to keep the satellite radio active. Audi TT's with the navigation radio have a CD changer in the glove box. In this case if you use this interface and connect behind the radio and disable the glove box CD changer it will also disable the factory satellite radio. If your EOS, GTI, Rabbit, R32 or Jetta has a navigation radio it will have the CD changer in the center counsel between the seats. In this case if you use this interface and confect behind the radio and disable the center counsel mounted CD changer it will also disable the factory satellite radio.We recommend using the BlitzSafe VW/M-Link1 V.3A it connects in the center counsel replacing the CD changer and will not disable the satellite radio. If your EOS, GTI, Rabbit, Jetta, Passat or R32 has the non navigation radio this interface will not disable the in dash CD player or in dash CD changer. It will disable the factory installed satellite radio. The ENFIG_VW_SAT_PASS_1 will allow you to use this interface with the factory CD satellite radio. If your Jetta has this radio follow the 2003-2004 notes. If you have any other radio use the 2006 application. If your Golf , GTI, Jetta or Passat has this radio follow the 2003-2004 notes. If you have any other radio this interface will not work and you must look for an interface that works with a 2001 model year car. This interface connects to the CD changer connection behind the radio. The CD changer connection in the trunk is just a cable that runs to the back of the radio. The CD changer in the trunk will be disabled. This interface will not affect the in dash CD player. If your Passat has a navigation radio it will have the CD changer in the center counsel between the seats. In this case if you use this interface and connect behind the radio and disable the glove box mounted CD changer and it will also disable the factory satellite radio.We recommend using the BlitzSafe VW/M-Link1 V.3A it connects in the center counsel replacing the CD changer and will not disable the satellite radio. If you have a 2008 Volkswagen Touareg that has factory satellite radio using this interface will disable the satellite radio.
