The USA Spec PA11-HON2y is a iPod interface for your factory Honda or Acura radio, featuring an additional AUX auxiliary audio input. The PA-11HON2y easily connects to the factory CD changer port behind the radio. The PA11-HON2y will charge your IPod and includes the Y adapter needed for cars with XM radio and/or Navigation.
Playlist Mode: Select songs and Playlists on the iPod using the CD changer buttons on the radio but locks the display of the iPod.
Hybrid Mode: is playlist mode but the iPod display and controls are not locked. (Hybrid mode not compatible with iPod Classic, 3rd Gen nano, iPhone or touch)
Direct Mode: Search and select directly on the iPod while controlling track up & track down from the radio and/or steering wheel controls.
In either mode control the song up /song down function from the radio or steering wheel controls.
Maintain current playlists when switching portable to in car use.
Charge the iPod while playing, charging automatically ends one hour after the car is shut off in order to prevent car battery drain.
A DVD player, satellite radio or other audio device can be used in conjunction with the iPod through the Aux audio input jack.
Connects behind the radio to the CD changer port
Will work with all in-dash CD players and in-dash CD Changers.
Will NOT work with trunk mount or under seat CD Changers. Must be disconnected.
Will display track numbers on stereo display, will not display text
