| In the VW listed vehicles listed below there are no 12 volt accessory wires currently in the factory harness making the installer run an accessory wire to the fuse box or underneath the steering column when installing an aftermarket radio. The XSVI-9003 is designed to provide a 12 volt 10 amp switched accessory output along with the rest of the wires needed to install an aftermarket radio. The R.A.P. (retained Accessory Power) function, where power is supplied to the radio after the ignition is shut off until one on the front doors are opened, is retained by the XSVI-9003. This harness wires up like any other wire harness using the Metra/EIA universal aftermarket radio colors. The color code is found on the back of the radio. |

- 2002 Golf/GTI/Jetta/Passat vehicles with casette only radios do not need this part use Metra 70-9003.
