Enfig D2B-AUX
Your Mercedes Benz has a D2B fiber optic audio system. The CD changer does not communicate with the radio through regular copper wires. It communicates through fiber optic cables using light signals.This is the only one adapter available in the world that we know of.
-Includes 3.5mm aux
-The USB port is for USB sticks only. The usb port does not support charging or data of any other kind including iPod and iPhones.
-If the car has an external CD changer it must be bypassed using the FOA2DB2 listed under related items.
-The dension IPO5DC9 30 Pin ipod cable can be used to connect an ipod for song +/- control and charging. You can add a Dension IPB0DIN to add rapid charging to this cable. The dension IPB0DIN power booster has been discontinued and we have no more but you may be able to find it from a different retailer.
- The Dension LIA1GW0 (listed under related items) was made to provide a female USB for ipods and iPhones using the new lightning cable. Unfortunately it requires the discontinued dension IPB0DIN to work. Alternatively you can use the dension 30 Pin cable and a 30pin to lightning converter from the Apple store.

I came to Enfig because of Christian's Youtube video. I spoke to him on the phone, ordered the D2B-AUX and it was delivered 3 days later. By following the video and calling Christian, I had no problem installing the Dension box, booster, and fiberoptic cables behind the radio. There is nothing like seeing the procedure, as in a video, to clarify what to do. I did have some problems with the bypass of my CD changer. The instructions are insufficient, but his guidance solved that. Now I have an IPOD connector, USB, and AUX. I played it for over an hour and it worked flawlessly. Doing business is simple. Charge a fair price, be ontime, be courteous, and serve your customer thoroughly and promptly. Enfig and Christian do all four as well as I have ever seen.
