If you would rather purchase the parts separately they are listed below.

1. Radio wiring harness

This is our famous HILO radio installation harness.  It fixes most audio issues when installing a new radio.

  • If you feel your car does not match this information email us you vin number to ensure you order the correct parts.

2. Steering Wheel Controls (optional)

This wire translates your factory steering wheel controls for use with your new radio *when used with the harness above.

3. Plug and Play Converter (optional but strongly recommended)

Converts the connector on harness 1 into a connection specific to your radio.

4. Radio Mounting Kit

This part holds a standard radio in place and fills the gaps around the radio for a factory finish.  It is painted to match the factory dashboard.

5. AM/FM Antenna adapter

This adapter converts the connector and powers you Audi antenna booster.

  • If your car came with the 2005-2009 RNS-E Navigation or 2007-2009 Symphony CD only need the AAA-VWAUD5
  • If your 2002-2006 car came with the Concert CD or Symphony CD & Cassette radio you need the AAA-VWAUD2
  • If you feel your car does not match this information email us you vin number to ensure you order the correct parts.

6. Aftermarket Microphone for factory location (optional)

Our microphone is made for aftermarket radios and designed to perfectly fit in the hidden factory location for better sound quality. (B6 convertible uses MIC-AUD2)

7. Pocket for glove box (optional)

Use this pocket to replace the CD changer or iPod dock when installing a new radio.

  • Enfig PKT-VW07

    $19.99

This is used to replace the factory iPod dock, CD changer or Audi Music Interface AMI with a storage bin.

8. SiriusXM Antenna Adapter (optional)

If your car has factory SiriusXM this adapter allows you to reuse the factory antenna.

You will also need this tuner

9. GPS Antenna Adapter (optional)

If your car has a factory GPS antenna you can can use the adapter to use it with your new radio. Most wireless carplay radios use a GPS antenna.

If you US sedan or wagon did not have factory navigation the antenna on the roof still has a GPS antenna cable.  The cable is on the Drivers side behind the Sirius tuner in the wagon and on the top of the passenger side corner of the rear window on the sedan. You will need this extension cable to connect to this cable.

10. Backup Camera (optional)

This harness give you power for this or any camera from the wiring harness behind the radio.  It connects to the main harness above.

  • Enfig SRWH-BUC

    $29.99

There are 3 different cameras for the 3 different body styles.

If you have a Convertible we currently do not have a camera for you.  Unfortunately they all require a little modifications and we can only install them.

If you have a wagon you can use the camera below.

11. Radio Removal Keys

The Concert II radio needs 2 keys the rest of the radios need 4 keys to be removed.

12. Panel Pry Tools

These tools come in handy when removing the cars interior trim.

Radios

These are the radios we recommend for your car.  The dash kit for this radio was made before screens became ultra thin. A radio without enough of a lip around the face will not look as good as one with a standard face.

Videos

If you have the RNS-E or Symphony II+ radio this video is for you.  But it covers so much that everyone should watch it.

This videos is in an A6 but it covers the wiring for the Symphony II and Concert II radio the best out of all my videos.
