-Not compatible --- Use BM1-IPDU-AUX To connect behind the radio.
-Not compatible --- Use BMT-IPDU-AUX To connect at the CD changer port in the trunk.
BMW 3 Series 1999-2006 (E46) Navigation Radio
-Not compatible --- Use BMT-IPDU-AUX
-BM4-IPDU-AUX is NOT compatible becasue your radio is in the trunk. The display up front is just a control panel.
BMW X5 (E53) Navigation Radio
-Not compatible --- Use BMT-IPDU-AUX

BMW X5 (E53) Business CD non navigation radio
-Connects behind the radio but replaces the factory trunk mounted CD changer. The CD changer must be disconnected to avoid a data conflict.
-Since this uses the CD changer port it does not require the radio to have an aux port.
-Use BMT-IPDU-AUX To connect at the CD changer port in the trunk.
BMW X5 (E53) Cassette non navigation radio
-Not compatible --- Use BM1-IPDU-AUX To connect behind the radio.
